📲 Android Installation Instructions

Enable Unknown Sources
Go to Settings → Security → Enable "Install from Unknown Sources" or "Install unknown apps" for your browser or file manager.
Download the APK
Click the "Download APK" button above to download the Android app package.
Install the App
Once downloaded, open the APK file from your Downloads folder and tap "Install".
Launch & Enjoy
Find FioDesks in your app drawer and start using all your favorite tools on the go!

💻 Windows PC Installation Instructions

⚠️ Important Note:

The Windows app requires Developer Mode to be enabled (one-time setup) because it's not digitally signed. This is a Windows security requirement for apps not from the Microsoft Store. Alternative: We're working on making FioDesks available in the Microsoft Store for easier installation!

Download the Windows App
Click the "Download for PC" button above to download the Windows app package (.msix file).
Enable Developer Mode (REQUIRED - One Time Only)
Method 1 - PowerShell (EASIEST - Recommended):
1. Right-click the Start button → Select "Windows Terminal (Admin)" or "PowerShell (Admin)"
2. Click "Yes" when Windows asks for permission
3. Copy and paste this command, then press Enter:
  reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppModelUnlock" /t REG_DWORD /f /v "AllowDevelopmentWithoutDevLicense" /d "1"
4. You should see "The operation completed successfully"
5. Restart your computer (required for changes to take effect)
Method 2 - Settings:
- Press Windows + I to open Settings
- Go to Privacy & security → Scroll down to For developers
- OR search for "Developer" in the Settings search bar
- Turn ON "Developer mode" toggle
- Click "Yes" if Windows asks for confirmation
- Restart your computer if prompted
Install the App
After restarting, try these methods in order:
1. Method 1 - Double-click (Easiest):
  - Navigate to your Downloads folder
  - Double-click the FioDesks.msix file
  - The Install button should now be enabled. Click "Install"
2. Method 2 - PowerShell (If Method 1 doesn't work):
  - Right-click Start button → "Windows Terminal (Admin)" or "PowerShell (Admin)"
  - Navigate to Downloads folder:
    cd $env:USERPROFILE\Downloads
  - Install the app:
    Add-AppxPackage -Path "FioDesks.msix"
  - Or use full path (replace YourName with your username):
    Add-AppxPackage -Path "C:\Users\YourName\Downloads\FioDesks.msix"
3. Method 3 - If you get signature error:
  - Make sure Developer Mode is enabled (check Step 2 above)
  - Verify Developer Mode with this command:
    Get-AppxPackage -Name Microsoft.WindowsAppRuntime
  - If still not working, try installing with bypass (advanced users only):
    Add-AppxPackage -Path "FioDesks.msix" -AllowUnsigned
Launch & Enjoy
Find FioDesks in your Start menu and enjoy all your favorite tools on your PC!

🏪 Microsoft Store (Coming Soon - Easier Installation!)

We're working on making FioDesks available in the Microsoft Store! Once available, you'll be able to install it with just one click - no Developer Mode needed.

For now: Please use the Developer Mode method above. We'll update this page once the Store version is available!

💡 Tips & Notes

Android: Keep the APK file for easy reinstallation. If you see "Blocked by Play Protect", tap "Install anyway" - your APK is safe.
Windows: Developer mode is only needed once (one-time setup). After enabling it, you can install any Windows app package. Note: We're working on a Microsoft Store version that won't require Developer Mode!
Updates: Both apps will update automatically when you visit the website or restart the app.
Features: All features work the same as the web version, including AI-powered tools, on Android.
Compatibility: Android app works on Android 5.0 and above.
